a ramdom myrtle beach trip.

9am meetings for the Carolina Green Fair ,about putting together a "Consignment Shops of Charleston Fashion Show", is just WAY to hard for me, especially when they are at the savvy coffee shop Hope & Union. Kidding of course, my job is really cool and I can't wait to get my hand into everything we do!

Never did I think that later in the day that my BombDotCom roommate, Katie, would buy a vintage 1970's Honda motorcycle and would have to drive to the bums of nowhere in Myrtle Beach. Well she did, and we went. I just have the coolest friends!!

2 hours later, and at 10:30pm we were at the world famous Sam's Corner Hot Dogs eating 2 footlong chili dogs. It may not sound like the best thing in the world to eat, but it WAS! took me straight back to childhood beach trips, and a very full stomach.

Petcha ketch tomorrow, with friends!

Time takes time, you know?

The summer has officially started in the Jamison Household, and all the roomies are pumped and ready to start scratching that long list of amazing times. Getting ready to go float down the Edisto River on Monday, and oh yes, pictures will be posted.

Kyle's graduation was finally here before you knew it. One minute college kids are freaking out about everything and the next they're done with their studies and ready for the real world. I love CofC graduations. Very unique and pretty. I think white dresses and suits are so much better than tacky gowns.
Now Kyle is somewhere in Nepal hiking the Himalayan mountains. He better bring me some cool stuff back!

I'm looking forward for the next few months. If it's going on more adventures

...or if its just getting saved...
...I'm still going to have a great time.

I can't really tell you why I have this sudden obsession with these two cats. But I do love to use them as my models, because when I force them to sit and take this picture they don't talk back...sorta...

Gwyn and I decided to make some "Sun Jars" to start off our fun weekend. We got the idea from a great blog. We also liked the fact that we could say sun jars, it just gives a great hippy tone to it.

After taking great hipster pics with friends...

we ate at this cool place that was having a "soft opening", called leaf. They had cheap drinks and free delicious food. You can't really have a bad time eating free nice food!

I ended the weekend working at the Cajun Festival. The Greenfair help set up compost and recycling everywhere so we could eliminate 90% of trash!

-you're welcome, mother Earth!

It's amazing how many Americans freak out when they see multiple boxes that say recycling and compost. They seriously stare at the boxes confused and not knowing what to do. We even labeled and put pictures of the trash up, and that still didn't even help...seriously people...we need to get some education up in this place, Y'ALL!

speak for yourself

"So it's not that bad", I think to myself. I can appreciate a lot of beautiful things

If it's working on a music video about fixed gear bikes ...

or if it's hanging by the pool side, smelling the jasmine in the air, with a beautiful family ...

even if my life these days only involve playing with a crazy kitten...

or when times are slightly low I know that I can always count on my friends to cheer me up...

or when I need a hug I know I can always count on my buddy...

So yeah, Charleston times are starting to look up...

The Beginning - Secret Beaches

Yes, I did. I started my so called "blog", and I'm very excited to see how this turns out. Inspired from my everyday muse, Olivia Rae, and other great blogger's out there I figured that I could give this a try. Also since it's a gray rainy day in Charleston it's the perfect opportunity to start it. Still trying to work the kinks out but I feel as if I'll be fine.

What could be a better way to start this masterpiece than letting everyone know that you don't always have to plan or go very far to find beautiful secret places. I know your interested...On the cloudy Saturday Kyle and I set on a random drive the hidden beach of  Botany Bay. I advise every respectable human to go and experience this untouched beach before more redneck families, who don't really care about the preservation just like they don't care about their trashy two-toned hair, take it over.

The gray colored sky gave the beach a very pleasant pop in the colors, especially the dark emerald green sea.

It was the perfect spontaneous Saturday.

I'm super excited to be starting this blog. I also expect to have one billion followers by the end of this week, so go ahead and hop on this party wagon!

Now let me leave you with the sweet sounds that have been in my head all weekend. Until Later.
